DETERMINAL is a prototype for a top down shooter that explores the concept of role reversal in gameplay. After defeating the boss, players reincarnate as the enemy, giving him an opportunity for revenge. As the original players movements are retraced down, the player now must use the bosses moves - including the setup, choreography and anticipation, to defeat the original player in the time limit.
